The All-Star Charity Show

People rattling tins and buckets on the high street may not be offensive or funny but to Lawrence Clark they are the scourge of modern society and prime material for a biting one-man show that is witty, stimulating and pointed. His message of ³Rights Not Charity² could not have been better communicated as we went through a multimedia presentation that was sarcastically supposed to raise money for patronising and superficial celebrities who present TV telethons. Terry Wogan, Gaby Roslin and Jimmy Saville are people who are in need of charity to stop them propagating an attitude that treats disabled people as inferior and excludes them. Clarkıs rapid wit and dry humour ensured that his message was razor sharp and left no one in the audience untouched.
